Sheumas MacDonald

Rejoining Assante was an easy decision and a full-circle moment for Sheumas, as this is where he began his career in wealth management in 2006 after completing the Investment Management program at NSCC.

Since then, Sheumas has combined a commitment to continuing education with gaining significant professional experience, earning his Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University and numerous industry certifications through the Canadian Securities Institute. He is currently in the final stages of obtaining his CFP designation.

Sheumas is known for his keen eye for detail, natural problem-solving skills, and commitment to being a team player. He works diligently to earn the trust of both his clients and coworkers every day.

Born and raised in Cape Breton, Sheumas now resides in Dartmouth with his wife Emily and their three children: Molly, Calum, and Alistair. Despite living in Dartmouth, Cape Breton still holds a special place in his heart.

In his limited free time, Sheumas enjoys attending live music shows around the city and cheering on the Mooseheads and Wanderers.
